Jordan Bruner is an artist and filmmaker whose work encompasses painting, print-making, ceramics and animated films. After receiving her BFA from the kinetic imaging department at VCU, she ventured to New York in 2007, marking the beginning of a career in animation. 

Jordan's work has appeared at CADAF Miami and installations commissioned by the MTA Arts and Design program in New York City. Her animated films have been screened at festivals worldwide, including Pictoplasma and The LA Film Festival. Other notable projects include directing short personal films and working on commissioned projects ranging from Linda McCartney's vegan food company to visualizing Rico Nasty's perspective on adulthood in collaboration with Google.

She's worked with notable clients that include the New York Times, Eve Ensler, the Atlantic, and Warby Parker. In 2013, Jordan received the Art Directors Club Young Guns Award.

Jordan has shared her insights at conferences like Pictoplasma and Playgrounds while also mentoring MFA thesis students at the School of Visual Arts. In 2023, Jordan had her first solo painting show at Pairos Gallery in Richmond, VA.

Jordan returned to Richmond, VA, in 2019, where she lives with her husband Zack and dogs Zucchini and Cezar.
