WILD WOMEN IN THE WILD // 2023

Wild Women in the Wild is a painting series where I aimed to evoke moments of joy, tension, and humor. My work explores the interplay between women, nature, and animals, using vibrant color palettes and carefully crafted compositions to tell a compelling story within a single image. Rooted in themes of leisure, abundance, camaraderie, and sisterhood, the series celebrates our shared human experiences. Through these paintings, I hoped to capture the beauty of feminine strength and connection, inviting viewers to reflect on the harmonious and sometimes playful relationship between women and the wild. The paintings were part of a solo exhibition of paintings at Pairos Gallery in Richmond, VA in May of 2023.
