THE GRAND WANDER // COMMISSIONED BY MTA ARTS & DESIGN // ANIMATION INSTALLATION // GRAND CENTRAL MADISON STATION NYC // 2022
For the opening of Grand Central Madison, NYC's newest train station, I created a two-minute looping animation. The Grand Wander explores many of the sights one may encounter while traveling from Grand Central to Long Island, including the cityscape of midtown Manhattan, wildlife and beaches, the historic fishing industry, and local wineries and food culture. These colorful scenes celebrate the broad range of experiences offered throughout Long Island! “The Grand Wander” is on view at the north end of the concourse at Grand Central Madison on the new large-scale LED screens.
